Topps Turbo Attax F1 for 2024 season released
Topps UK have now released their 2024 season Turbo Attax F1 card set.
I’ve yet to get my hands on these cards yet but looking at Topps’ website and other online comments, these seem to be some of the new features for the 2024 collection:
- Base card design for 2024 Attax is matt white background instead of black which looks like a considerable improvement.
- New parallels – more serial numbered parallels like Chrome. For 2024 set, these are gold (1/1), wood (1/10), pink, blue (299 population) & green (499 population) parallels.
- Landscape oriented Signature Style cards – in past sets, these cards have been rare but apparently base Signature Style cards will be easier to hit and these cards will also have parallel cards to help with rarity (and higher resale prices).
- Michael Schumacher cloth relic card which is only available in the new Five Fold Mega tin.
- Limited Edition cards – there are new ultra rare Opal and Canary Yellow limited edition cards and in keeping with Turbo Attax’s 5th anniversary, several of the limited edition driver cards have retro background designs used in past Turbo Attax F1 sets from 2020 (Danny Ric), 2021 (Lewis), 2022 (Charles Ferrari Red) and 2023 (Lando Papaya)
- F2 rookie cards – the presence of Kimi Antonelli’s first Topps F1 card is the big appeal here, alongside Haas bound Oliver Bearman.
- Black Edge cards – only available from Jumbo boxes.
Once I get the Starter pack and some mega-tins, I’ll post a more fullsome review.
