Minichamps 1:18 F1 diecast prices – Kimi Räikkönen cars
Retired Kimi Räikkönen is still very popular with diecast collectors evidenced by solid secondary market sales of his career cars, particularly his Sauber C20. Although Minichamps doesn’t have license rights to produce Kimi’s F2007 World championship car (Mattel had the rights during 2007), some of his cars like the McLaren MP4/20 and Alfa Romeo C38 are aerodynamically beautiful cars to look at (and also have decent sales prices too…)
Sauber C20 (2001 showcar)
Notes: The C20 showcar was a limited run of 800 pcs. The sidepods and rear wing are much more basic than the C20 race car.

Notes: Kimi’s first season was in the Sauber Petronas C20. This model still commands very good resale prices due to its limited run and Kimi’s longevity with fans. Also, the Sauber Petronas livery of the early 2000’s was actually very finely detailed with Sauber Petronas appearing in translucent text inside the blue coloured sidepods (which is also recreated by Minichamps models).

Notes: Kimi’s first season at McLaren in 2002. 3 podiums (Aust, Europe, Japan GPs).

Notes: The McLaren MP4-17D in 1:18 scale came in 2 versions, the standard season car and the Malaysian GP car (with celebrating standing Kimi driver figure) marking Kimi’s maiden F1 win (and only win in 2003).

Notes: The MP4/18 never raced in a GP. Kimi and Alex Wurz tested the MP4/18 but Kimi kept racing in the MP4/17D for the rest of the 2003 season.

Notes: During 2004, McLaren raced the MP4/19 in the first half of the season and the MP4/19B in the 2nd half. Only the MP4/19 was made in 1:18 scale, while the MP4/19B can be found in 1:43 scale (which Kimi won at Spa in Belgium GP).

Notes: Kimi returned to F1 in 2012 with Lotus (re-branded Renault team) using livery reminiscent to famous black JPS Lotus. 1 win for Kimi at Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi GP model comes in 2 versions, one with Kimi in the car (LE 2016 pcs) and another with standing celebrating Kimi figure (LE 500 pcs).
