There have been several A-Z guide books on Formula 1 published over the years – Speed Read F1 comes to mind. The latest book in this genre is Jennie Gow’s (well known BBC F1 reporter and Drive to Survive talking head) “How to Read F1”.
There’s a chapter for each letter of the alphabet with various F1 terminology starting with that letter. The 2024 drivers are included along with a mix of technical issues like degradation, apex, oversteer, understeer and history bits like X-Wing designs in late 90’s.
This book is more geared towards new F1 fans and was written by Jennie Gow after her recent stroke and dedicated to stroke victims.
Some of the circuits like Qatar and Zandvort should have been included to help pad up the smaller letter chapters like Q and Z which only mentions qualifying and Zhou Guanyu.
There are no photos but hand illustrations insert every few pages.
