News: New F1 driver photo book for charity

Just saw the news on the Formula 1 website (link) about the launch of a new F1 photo album book ‘Zoom: Through the Eyes of Formula 1‘ for a London hospital charity.

The book will be a 104 page hardcover book containing personal photos submitted by all the drivers and team principals from the 2012 grid. If you want to preview some of the photos, check out these official sites.

Go to the Zoom website (link) or  Momentoes Exclusive’s site (link), who appear to be the exclusive retailer to purchase prints. The variety of shots are interesting – some drivers took scenic landscape shots and other took trackside photos. Michael Schumacher may yet have found his new career post-Mercedes and dogs are obviously popular in the pitlane…

Several of the shots seem to be photos already posted by the drivers or teams on the social media sites and via Instagram – but its for a good cause. According to formula1.com the book will retail for £20 and there will be a limited edition slipcase version for £75. Just in time for Christmas!
