Classic cars for F1 2017 game

I don’t normally post about video games but the recent trailer for the new F1 2017 franchise video game by Codemasters teases the inclusion of some iconic F1 race cars – the Senna McLaren MP4/4, Williams Renault FW14B and Ferrari F2002 as part of the standard career mode. I’m not a regular gamer myself but I have played the F1 2015 game on an Xbox One console and the graphics were stunning (however I was more impressed by driving the Indycar and classic Ferrari 312T2, Lotus 79 cars in Forza 6 on the Xbox).

I wonder how reliable the McLaren MCL32 will be in the video game version?!

If you want to experience a book version of classic F1 race cars, look no further than Stuart Codling’s excellent “The Art of the Formula 1 Race Car” which includes the MP4/4, Williams Renault FW14B and Ferrari F2000.

I posted a review of this a couple of years ago, you can read it here. Since that review, a newer edition which included the recent Red Bull and Mercedes cars.
